Comrade Jaroslav Kafka passed away

Prague, April 25 Juche 108 (2019) – With deep grief at heart, we announce that on Thursday, April 25, 2019, the honorary chairman and former chairman of the Paektusan Czech-Korean Friendship Association comrade RSDr. Jaroslav Kafka (born March 27, 1943), passed away.
He was a longtime member of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia and the Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia and was one of the founders and leaders of the Paektusan Czech-Korean Friendship Association.
In 1984, he was one of the guides to the Great Leader Comrade Kim Il Sung during his visit to the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and in 1988 he met with Great Leader Comrade Kim Il Sung during the visit of the Czechoslovak party and state delegation in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.
Comrade Jaroslav Kafka surrendered from the post of the chairman of the Paektusan Czech-Korean Friendship Association in June 2018 for health reasons.

He was a holder of the Order of Friendship 1st class.
The exploits of comrade Jaroslav Kafka for the friendship with the heroic Democratic People’s Republic of Korea will live forever.
