Socialism is endowed with eternal vitality

Speech of comrade Lukáš Vrobel, first vice-chairman of the Paektusan Czech-Korean Friendship Association, at the 44th Prague Theoretical and Political Conference on November 3, 2018

Dear comrades,

it is my honor to greet today’s international conference held in the year of the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Czechoslovak working people over the bourgeoisie and reaction in February 1948, but also in the 70th anniversary of the foundation of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea in September 1948. Remembering this year’s anniversaries of history of the international communist movement, I cannot forget the 110th anniversary of the birth of comrade Enver Hoxha in October.Číst dál →

70 years of diplomatic relations between the Czechoslovak Republic and the DPRK

Dear comrades,
let me greet you on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations of the Czechoslovak Republic with the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea on October 21 Juche 37 (1948).
We are proud of more than 40 years of friendly relations of our countries, connected with the building of socialist society and the fight against imperialism.
We definitely reject the acts and statements of the representatives of Czechoslovakia and its successor states in relation to Korea after the 1989 counter-revolution, which damaged relations. We greatly appreciate the fact that diplomatic relations at the embassy level are preserved even in a changed political situation unfavorable to the progressive forces in our country.
We hope and believe that in the future the relations between the Czech and Slovak Republics and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea will be re-established on the principles of independence, peace, friendship and social progress.
We are glad that we can contribute to the development of Czechoslovak-Korean friendship and the promotion of socialist society in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, which is an example of the progressive people of the world.

Speech of comrade Alexander Velitš on the occasion of the 70th founding anniversary of the DPRK

Dear comrades!

The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea is based on the principles of the Juche ideology, which is a brilliant ideology developed by the great leader Comrade Kim Il Sung. Thanks to his outstanding leadership, the pro-people policy of the Workers‘ Party of Korea, and people´s own creative power, the Korean nation has been able to build a strong and prosperous socialist country, despite many obstacles and an joyless international situation.

These days, the Korean people and all the world’s progressive people celebrate the beautiful 70th anniversary of the establishment of the DPRK. 70 years ago, Korean people finally obtain their own state after decades of oppression and Japanese occupation.

Fight out the independence has brought a happy life for the people of Korea under the loving care of the great leader Comrade Kim Il Sung and the Workers‘ Party of Korea. Even the very first constitution of the DPRK was very progressive, and it provided people with benefits that they had not even dreamed of before.Číst dál →

DPRK – the most just and most advanced state in today’s world

The 65th anniversary of the victory of the Korean people in the Fatherland Liberation War leads me to think about the causes of constant victories in building and defending Korean socialism under the most difficult conditions, while in many other socialist countries, including my native Czechoslovakia, socialism was defeated and capitalism restored, although the conditions for building socialism were much more favorable.

The working people of Czechoslovakia won the bourgeoisie and reaction in February 1948, in the same year that the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea was founded. Under the excellent leadership of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia, led by the first working-class president comrade Klement Gottwald, our country achieved great economic development and improvement in the standard of living, nationalization of the means of production and the collectivization of agriculture. Thanks to the fact that Czechoslovakia was an advanced industrialized country and was relatively little damaged by the World War II, it was able to help the people of Korea in the difficult years of the Korean War and in post-war reconstruction. Czechoslovakia actively both morally and materially supported the just struggle of the Korean people against American imperialism. Číst dál →

DPRK maintains its socialist nature, culture and ideology as the island of socialism and the beacon of communism

Recently, the eyes of the world have faded into the Korean Peninsula, where the atmosphere of confrontation is being released, and steps are being taken to the reunification of Korea. Two historic meetings took place between the respected Supreme Leader of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and the south Korean President. There is also a consolidation of relations with the United States.

It should be noted that these steps could only be achieved thanks to the leniency of the DPRK, a nuclear power, which has to be recognized by the world’s largest imperialist power.

The Korean people have suffered for nearly seven decades of dividing because the imperialist United States of America interfere into the affairs of the Korean nation. Since the struggle for peace is one of our most important goals, we welcome this effort, but at the same time, we must remind that the imperialists wish to take control of the DPRK without a single shot, in order to promote their interests, as they did it for example in former Czechoslovakia. That is why the Korean people must prevent the penetration of the decadent and shrewd imperialist ideology and culture into the DPRK.

Statement of the 16th plenary meeting of the Paektusan Czech-Korean Friendship Association

Prague, June 16, Juche 107 (2018) – The 16th plenary meeting of the Paektusan Czech-Korean Friendship Association was gathered at a time when significant changes in the international relations of the People’s Democratic Republic of Korea and strengthening of its position in the world took place.
Growing support for the politics of the Respected Supreme Leader Comrade Kim Jong Un and the Workers Party of Korea in the World and building its own strong and highly organized and modern military equipment of the DPRK’s national defense forces the US and its vassals to address the Korean Peninsula issue not by military intervention but by negotiating settlement in this area. The solution is not by means of a war conflict, but by the peace process that the DPRK has been seeking since its inception.

Forward to the Day of the Sun – Juche 107 (2018)

On April 15, the people of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and its friends from all over the world celebrate Day of the Sun, the 106th birth anniversary of the Great Leader Comrade Kim Il Sung.

The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea was born from the wreckage of a country occupied for 35 years by the Japanese imperialists. Their atrocities still outweighed the raid of US aggressors and their vassals during the Patriotic Liberation War. In many other countries war crimes were quickly forgotten, and we also met with their apologies and approvals. Otherwise, in People’s Korea, through consistent class education and the great Juche idea, the young generation understands the real essence of imperialism and the importance of national independence and the construction of socialism.

Members of the Paektusan Czech-Korean Friendship Association and the Czech Group for the Study and Materialization of the Juche Idea and all progressive people in former Czechoslovak Socialist Republic respect the DPRK as a fortress of social progress and independence, which is most rigorously defending rightful peace and resistance against imperialism. At the same time, it provides its entire people with social security that does not exist in most of the world.Číst dál →
